North Korea
Korea is a peninsula lying at the southern tip of the Asian continent. It is a small nation. It is surrounded on the west by the sea of Japan, on the west by China sea and of its north border by the Soviet Union. Each of these countries wanted to control Korea to protet their own border. For hundreds of years Korea was dominated by China but by the end of the ninteenthg, century the Chinese empire had lost much of its military power. During the World War II, Japan controlled Korea and used that country natural recources. During the World War the United States and the Soviet Union cooperated to defeat the Japan in Korea. The Soviet Union from the north and united stated from the south invaded Korea and defeated Japanese troops in this country.
The United States and the Soviet Union agreed to divide Korea along a line of latitude called the 38th parallel the Soviet Union occupied the north and the United Stated occupied the south. Both countries agreed to withdrow from Korea and relinquish their control to a Korean leader at the end of the war. Unfortunately United Stated and the Soviet Union ended forces both countries become more deeply involved in Korea. The United Stated wanted Korea to be unifi under a democratic government with regularly held election. The Soviet Union wanted Korea to be under communist control and tried to the Soviet Union. South Korea become in democraty country that continuous until today. North Korea become under communist that continous until today.
North Korea is the worse country for life in the world.
In Korea, as in every dictatorship, the people cannot speak what they want Neither can they read the what they want, nor write what they want. All the media of comunication: the television, the newspaper, and the radio are controlled by dictatorship. The television in Korea is a hundred percent controlled by the dictatorship. The only news programs they show in North Korea are about the last opening of the dictator Kim Jong Il, the programs of chorus of the popular army, the groups of dances of the militias, plays of soldier, the last maneuvers of War, movie of War where Korea always wins and obviously the hymn and the flag this the television of Korea all time that people every day. If a citizen criticizes the system , the economy, or the leader there are 104 laws to put you in the jail.
Entire towns are moved from ore place to another because the dictator wants. Nobody can have private business, state government employmente cars. The few cars that there are for the rulers civilian citizen transfer in bicycle or by trains.
The government the communist controls the food supply, goverment says that the life of the Korean is guaranteed. The government gives to each Korean 16 pounds of rice, 3 lbs of meat and 16 eggs. Everything else that the people need they have to buy or the black market. The crisis of the food is extreme. Even the dictator Kim Jong Il recognice that 300 000 Koreans have died in the year 2002 from hunger, but organizations of human rights in the world say that there about 2 million. In Korea thirty percent of the children are born premature because of the bad diet of the mothers, 34 percent of the mothers suffers from anemia, and 23 percent of the children are malnourished. The hunger in Korea is so great that even in the army they had to reduce the height minima to 5 feet to 4 feet.
In North Korea there are not human rights, no liberties nor respect to the human dignity. The people are like toys of the dictator Kim Jong Il and each one has a place and a mission and if it do not they are replaced, or killed.
The regime in North Korea operates approximately 10 concentration or "re-education" camps for political prisoners. The Far Eastern Economic Review has published satellite photographs of one camp that is estimated to hold as many as 50,000 people. The 10 camps are estimated to hold between 200,000 to 250,000 prisoners in total. The regime uses the camps to punish anyone who fails to adhere strictly and completely to every "law," but arrest and confinement can come at any time with no explanation. In some reports, people have been arrested and detained for years for failing to show appropriate respect to the "Great Leader" or the "Dear Leader." In other cases, entire families have been arrested because flaws have been found in their family history.
The camps differ in that each serves a specific type of prisoner generally ranging from those considered "redeemable" to those who are "expendable." Those who are redeemable are often released after a number of years of hard labor and re-education. Expendable prisoners are never expected to leave the camp and usually die of malnutrition, exhaustion, and abuse. Two recent books provide graphic explanations of deplorable conditions in the more "lenient" re-education camps: Aquariums of Pyongyang by Kang chol-Hwan and Eyes of Tailless Animals by Soon Ok Lee. Torture is wide spread along with gradual starvation from the minimal food rations.
The concentration camps have in their Current walls and thorns so that nobody can escape. Any one that touch the wall can die, no prisoners can escape. Not a day single in Korea in which somebody has not been tortured. Alerted immediately monthly in the fields of concentration executions are done and they force the other prisoners to watch.
In Korea there are done test with human beings in the fields of concentration. An exprisoner political that now lives in the United States says: ‘’as an I gave in the campus a policeman of said that selected fifty people the policemen to distribute a salad so that the prisoners to eat when the people ate this began to shout and they were thrown on the ground, said helps aid aid , they were touched their upset, themselves touched and to the half an hour all was dead.’’
An ex boss of a field of concentration of North Korea that now lives in the exile in South Korea says there are some fields that test gas and other products chemestry. These laboratories are all manufactured of crystal, is divided into three boxes of crystal: the first one for the experiments with blood, the second for poisonous gas, and the third for the enthusiastic gases. The room of a normal size is of 10 feet long and10 feet wide. These test are done with three people or a family, When they are inside the laboratory they strip them, do an exam to makesure for sure they are well of health, When they are assured that they are well of health they put them inside the room. To test the gases and chemicals on them. Kim Sung Hum an exile that lives in Seul capital of of Korea southern that has been dedicated to fight for the human rights was named the man of the year by the magazine Times. He has tests and North Korean documents where is explained at length as the humans are for biological test for the production of weapons of this type. The documents that has sung have the name of them you kill, of the place where.
In Korea no unions exist like in the countries of the free world, of the government exists for defending. to the government and not the workers. The government says that the life in Korea is guaranteed. The own government recognizes that there are fields of work for the dissidents the fields are for '' reeducating'' thousands of men and women who are forced obliged to work long hours.
The solution is very hard of encountered for example from outside there is not pressuring for a change in the dictatorship Tthe United States alone interests that Korea north for its nuclear program and by achieving that objetive is layers even in helping and to give him money to the tyranny of Korea. The same thing passes with their neighboring pies Korea southern that by fear to them you arm chemestry and nuclear give money and aid to the tirania for them is not important the liberty and the human rights in Korea north alone interests them that they be not put with them. A rebelion is very dificil that occur for many first motives the children since are born they are indoctrinated and they live completely misinformed. All the media of comunication are controlled by the dictatorship. The ones that are opposed to the dictatorship they are imprisoned or murdered not only they but also all the family. That is why North Korea is the worst country to live in.
